“盼望著，盼望著，東風來了，春天的腳步近了”(朱自清——春)。古今中外的文人墨客皆喜愛歌頌春天，這里就為大家總結(jié)幾個描寫春天的英文單詞，為大家用英語“賞春”“頌春”助力。
提到春天，浮現(xiàn)在腦海里的英文單詞必然是spring，早春early-spring，仲春mid-spring，暮春late-spring。除了表示季節(jié)之外，這個單詞作名詞還可以指“泉水”，a mountain spring山澗清泉，hot spring溫泉。另有一個生動的短語更是充滿了春天的氣息，a spring in your step步伐輕快，比如As he walked into the classroom this morning, there was a spring in his step.大家不太熟悉的是spring還可以作動詞，表示“彈起來”，且它還是個不規(guī)則動詞，過去時為sprang，分詞形式為sprung，比如Suddenly, the drawer sprang open.作動詞時，spring還有一個常用短語spring from表示“發(fā)源于，來自”，比如Madness and creativity could spring from the same source.
